Fine Pair of Chinese Cantonese Hand Decorated Porcelain Oil Lamps with ornate Ormolu bases now converted to Electric Table Lamps, of good size proportions, (see last image in situ) mid Nineteenth Century.
The main outer bodies of bulbous form with applied Buddhist Lion handles above slender flaired necks, richly adorned through in the Famille Rose palette with hand painted panels in bright enamels in colours depicting Chinese Figures within interior scenes, other panels with exotic birds, insects, flowers and foliage. Raised on plain heavy gauge stepped circular cast ormolu bases.
Condition: These Lamps have been professionally re-gold plated and re-wired. Good condition with no losses to porcelain.
